Big Tim Trug
Big Tim was an American ex-pat in London, but only his accent betrayed him: he cut roses from his garden in the late afternoon, tweed cap on his head and a martini on the table nearby, and collected them in the vintage trug he found at the market a block or so away. This one might not fit the long stems, but we can imagine many collections nestled inside -- beach stones, dried moss, acorns, or pine cones -- and we see them set up on a side table, a book shelf, a console. Martini optional.
