End of the Day Bowl

We once read a story in Reader’s Digest about a man who touched a limb of a tree in his front yard every day before he went into his home; he reached up and touched the branch, every day. Confused and curious after ten or so years, his neighbor finally asked, “I see you do this and I need to know why?” He replied, “I hang up my troubles there.”

We realized why we love this simple stone bowl so much: it’s the literal vessel for the day.
