Our Kitchen Coffee Spot

Our Kitchen Coffee Spot

This sunny spot in our kitchen was originally slated for an eight person table. But as our kitchen renovation came together we realized that we didn't really need a full sized table. Instead, a smaller table, banquet and two arm chairs turned this nook into the perfect place for morning coffee... and for naps!

Kitchen nook with seating under a large window, decorated with custom grey cushion and a selection of vintage and new throw pillows. The kitchen nook is completed with a modern white round table and a blue accent chair on each end.

The space before our renovation was dimly lit and surrounded by drafty windows and doors. It definitely was NOT a cozy spot for napping.

We chose a 30 inch tulip table to make getting into the banquet easy. This small table is an ideal size for setting down a cup of coffee and having a small snack. The matching barrel chairs from One Kings Lane  add a bit of bohemian vibe, and the rattan overhead light by Serena and Lily keeps the space warmly lit at night.
