About Us

Mo Bonner

After a 20+ year career as a tech marketing executive, Mo decided it was finally time to pursue a life-long dream. She launched Addison West on her 50th birthday. While not a designer by training, she has redesigned and renovated countless bathrooms, kitchens, condos and homes. In the process of honing her style, she learned she cares most about helping people find joy and comfort in their spaces and the beloved things within them. Maybe that thing is a welcoming rug, a surprising detail, an unearthed treasure or that ever-elusive ideal gift – the special things that are found or discovered and suddenly, seem just right. Addison West is a destination with a singular purpose: connecting people with the spaces and things they love.  Mo lives in Cornwall Vermont with her husband, two teenage sons, and their dog named Bacon.

Bibi De Souza

Bibiana heads up operations at Addison West. If you visit our original location at 44 Main Street in Middlebury, Vermont, you'll often see Bibi holding down the proverbial fort. Between greeting everyone with her warmest of smiles, Bibi leads our technical design work while completing her degree in Interior Architecture & Sustainable Design. Bibi moved to the United States from Brazil 8 years ago, and now makes Cornwall, Vermont home with her very high maintenance wonderful little rescue dog named Sam. Don’t tell anyone, but she also happens to be a very talented singer.

Anna Mays

Anna is general manager of our new Waitsfield location. She enthusiastically describes this as her dream job (especially when she gets to do flowers on Fridays!) Anna brings decades of retail experience to the role. In fact, retail is in her blood. Anna’s great, great-grandfather started Wyckoff’s Department Store, back when they were the only place around to get just about anything from panty hose to Ponds cream in Pennsylvania. Anna’s parents later went on to open a Home and Hardware Emporium where, as a toddler, Anna would love to ring the register’s bell. After graduating from St. Lawrence University, she headed to Aspen, then Sun Valley, and eventually settled in the Mad River Valley. She lives in Warren, Vermont with her husband, two kids (who can often be seen helping out at the store) and their two dogs. Fun fact: Anna's Chesapeake Bay Retriever is named 'Addison.' Coincidence? Fate? Kismet? Yep, we think it's all kinds of good signs.
