The inspiration is deeply personal. Hedley & Bennett founder Ellen grew up cooking alongside her abuelita, who always insisted on wearing a smock in the kitchen. That memory shaped this collection: a timeless garment that has existed for centuries, thoughtfully updated for modern kitchens and modern lives. The colors draw from nature, the fit is relaxed and forgiving, and the result is something that feels familiar the moment you put it on.
