About Nicole Aquillano: Nicole took an unconventional path to become a studio potter. After pursuing a career in engineering, she left to follow her passion and earn her MFA. Since then, she has developed a successful ceramics line which she sells across the country. Nicole etches each image by hand into the porcelain clay and inlays a dark underglaze. The high temperature of the kiln blurs the drawing, much like a faded memory. Each piece is one-of-a-kind.
