Care

S: Furniture marked with an “S” cleaning code should be cleaned using only solvent-based cleaners.

Dry Clean Only: Upholstery marked as “S” should be cleaned with a solvent-based cleaner. Use a dry-cleaning solvent designed for home use to avoid color loss or water rings.

Spot Cleaning: For small spills, gently blot (do not rub) the area with a clean, dry cloth. Use a solvent-based cleaner and follow the manufacturer’s instructions.

Avoid Water-Based Cleaners: Water can cause damage to fabrics that are designated as “dry clean only.” Stick to solvent-based cleaners to prevent water rings and fabric damage.

Protect from Direct Sunlight: Just like with other furniture, avoid exposing your upholstered items to direct sunlight to prevent fading or discoloration over time.

Vacuum Regularly: Use a soft brush attachment to vacuum your upholstery regularly and keep it free of dust and debris.

By following these care tips, you’ll help maintain the quality and appearance of your upholstery for years to come.

Shipping

Many of our furniture and lighting products ship directly from our partners. Processing time can take up to 1 week, with delivery within 1–3 weeks once your order becomes available. Once our partners have processed an order for shipment, it cannot be canceled. There is a 20% restocking fee applied to standard furniture items that are returned. Custom furniture and lighting orders cannot be canceled or returned. We offer two shipping options for furniture and lighting:

Free Threshold Delivery

Furniture and lighting shipped directly from our partners ship free of charge, either by freight or via UPS/FedEx for smaller items. This means that the freight carrier will remove your item from their truck and bring it to the threshold of your residence. In the case of apartment buildings, the carrier will deliver to the exterior ground floor. Freight carriers will not unpack or remove packing materials. 

White Glove Delivery

For select furniture and lighting items, we’re pleased to offer a white glove delivery option. Includes unpacking your item, bringing it into the room of your choice, and assembly as needed. White glove delivery is available on eligible items only and is subject to an additional $150 fee per item. Select items ship with free white glove delivery. Lighting installation not included. For larger orders with multiple furniture pieces, our team can provide a customized quote for white glove delivery of the full shipment. Our team works hard to update our site regularly to reflect the most accurate stock and estimated shipping timeframes. Changes to an estimated shipping time frame attributed to a delay in production may occur and are subject to change. Our team will notify you of any changes to the item(s) in your order and ship any available items.

Returns

Furniture, lighting, rugs, and items shipped from our vendors are final sale. The cost and complexity of returning large pieces make it a hassle—not just for us, but for you too. We ask that customers measure carefully and feel confident the piece will work in your home before placing an order. If your item arrives damaged, don’t worry—we’ll make it right with a refund or replacement. Please inspect your item before signing any delivery paperwork, as that confirms the piece arrived in acceptable condition. Please see our Refund Policy for additional details.
