Helping Create Home
Habitat: Habitat for Humanity
Home has the power to change lives. That's why Habitat for Humanity is one of our most important community partners.
Our support goes beyond financial contributions. Each year our team volunteers with Habitat through ReStore merchandising projects and home build days, helping strengthen an organization whose mission closely reflects our own.
We also work with our design clients to give quality furnishings and décor a second life through local Habitat ReStores. Items that might otherwise end up in a landfill remain accessible to more families while helping fund the construction of new Habitat homes. It's one way we're helping extend the life of well-made pieces while supporting more people on their journey to home.
Our Impact
- Two team volunteer days each year
- 6–10 employees participate in every event
- Financial and product donations throughout the year
- ¾ ton diverted from landfill in the past year
- Goal: Divert 5 tons by 2030
Makers Markets
Great communities are shaped by the people who create within them.
Each Saturday from May through October, we welcome guest makers to Addison West. The Makers Market creates an opportunity for artists, craftspeople, and small businesses to share their work, connect with new customers, and grow their businesses in the heart of our community.
We provide the space, equipment, and marketing support at no cost to participating makers. They keep 100% of every sale because our goal is simple: to celebrate talented local makers and help them reach new audiences.
Many of the makers become part of the Addison West collection. Others simply inspire us and strengthen the vibrant creative community that makes Vermont such a special place to live and visit.
Our Impact
- Hosted every Saturday, May–October
- 17 guest makers featured in 2025
- 26 guest makers participating in 2026
- No participation fees or commission
- Marketing and event support provided by Addison West
