The Role
We’re looking for a full-time team member to join our Waitsfield shop.
This role is perfect for someone who enjoys both the creative and operational sides of retail — from helping customers find something they love for their home to helping keep the shop running smoothly behind the scenes.
You’ll work closely with our team to ensure the store feels welcoming, organized, and inspiring every day. It’s a role that combines people, product, and problem solving, and offers the opportunity to grow inside a small but ambitious Vermont business.
This individual will also be responsible for developing local community engagement initiatives and events.
Retail experience is wonderful, but we’re equally interested in candidates who bring strong organizational skills, curiosity, and a positive approach to teamwork.
What You’ll Do
- Welcome customers and help them discover pieces they’ll love for their homes
- Help maintain the beautiful, curated atmosphere Addison West is known for
- Support inventory receiving and processing
- Assist with daily shop operations
- Contribute ideas that help the store continue to grow and improve
- Support events and special shop initiatives

A Few Practical Details
- This role involves being on your feet for much of the day, helping move merchandise or receive deliveries.
- The position may include some weekends and holidays, however we are flexible with this position, so do not let working on the weekends deter you from applying.
