A pencil with a second act. Use it for writing, sketching, and list-making, then plant it when it gets too short to use. Each pencil contains a seed capsule at the end that can be planted in soil to grow flowers or herbs, depending on the variety.
Simply plant the pencil seed-end down, cover the capsule with soil, water regularly, and place in a sunny spot. With a little time and care, something new will begin to grow.
