Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Logistics Manager to join our team. This individual will be responsible for managing the flow of furniture and lighting shipments, ensuring timely delivery, handling customer service inquiries, and assisting with delivery coordination and scheduling for our Waitsfield store location. The ideal candidate will have experience with furniture delivery logistics, data analysis and customer service. Work hours are highly flexible and can vary based on the number of orders in process.

Responsibilities include: 
- Manage logistics process for drop ship furniture and lighting including selection of freight partner via quoting and cost analysis based upon client's chosen level of service.
- Oversee multiple deliveries weekly and proactively ensure customer readiness for delivery receipt and inspection
- Work with carriers and manufacturers to file claims in cases where there are delivery issues.
- Identify new carriers and opportunities for cost savings and efficiency.
- Respond to inbound customer inquiries via email and chat. 
- Assist with returns processing for mail order customer issues (incorrect item, breakage or loss.)
- Assist with inventory management.
- Establish and document processes to educate and train future team members 
- Attend weekly team meetings. Submit end of quarter freight reports. 
 
Qualifications: 
- Bachelor's degree 
- Proven experience in logistics or supply chain management role
- Strong knowledge of logistics processes, including shipping, receiving, and inventory control
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
